Raised awareness and increased knowledge about children’s palliative care are among the Maruzza Foundation’s main objectives. Our communication and awareness initiatives are aimed at the general public, young people and the families of children with serious and incurable illness.

Our goal is to provide user-friendly information about paediatric palliative care and to contribute to changing attitudes and behaviour; to modify the way serious childhood illness is perceived and represented. Also, through the Regional Maruzza Associations, we provide local support services for children with incurable illness and their families with complex care needs.
